White Supremacist Said Grateful For NAACP Assistance.

White supremacist Richard Wayne Snell, put to death for killing a Jewish pawn shop owner, didn't turn aside assistance in his final weeks from the NAACP's Legal Defense Fund.

"He was very grateful for the assistance," said Jeff Rosenzweig, a Jewish Little Rock attorney. "Obviously, he had some political views that were different, but the point is that a number of issues in Snell's case are issues that recur in a number of cases that the NAACP is interested in, like prosecutorial misconduct."
