The Polish Easter: Customs Deeply-Rooted in Faith.

April is a Spring month that brings us rebirth - longer warmer days and the beauty of reawaking nature. We look at life from a new perspective with new hope. Not long ago, we celebrated Christmas as a holiday of hope because God's Son came into the world. Now, we approach another holiday, Easter. Through His Resurrection, Jesus conquered death and gave us new hope for life after death. The Resurrection has such a powerful meaning that year after year we continue to celebrate Easter as our forefathers did.
