POINT OF VIEW: Remembering Mother of 2 Black Children.

Recently, two Black children lost their mother. She was an unmarried woman, murdered at night outside her home in L.A. with her children slept. Fortunately, police officers spared the children the trauma of discovering their mother's body. Unfortunately, as often happens when single mothers of Black children die, this woman was criticized for her lifestyle and her associations. Now both she and her children are almost forgotten - as though no on cares that she died.
