Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Plans Humanitarian Project In South Africa.
While visiting South Africa last April, Walter J. Johnson of Orange, N.J., got a first-hand look at the vast needs of that country's Black population. When he returned to the U.S., Johnson reported his concerns to the leadership of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
Those concerns found a sympathetic ear from Dr. Dorsey C. Miller, the fraternity's Grand Basileus (national president), and became the catalyst for the Omega's plan for a program of humanitarian assistance in South Africa.
