Philippine stock market introduced in D.C..
The Philippine stock market was introduced to the Philippine American community here on last month at a briefing held at the World Bank. The panel of speakers, literally a who's-who in the Philippine Stock Market and other major institutions made a well-planned and impressive presentation of the favorable conditions of the Philippine economy and sought to assure a curious crowd of 150 people that it is an opportune season to think about investing in Philippine run companies listed on the stock exchange.
