As supporters all over the world cheer a stay of execution and possible new trial for Mumia Abu-Jamal, the David Wong Support Committee (DWSC) and the Yu Kikumura Support Committee (YKSC) vow to keep making waves in their efforts to free Abu-Jamal.
At City Hall Park in Manhattan Aug. 5, DWSC and YKSC initiated a walkathon to raise funds and to educate Asian Pacific Americans about the death-warrant case of Abu-Jamal, a black journalist convicted of shooting a Philadelphia police officer.
