Gore Announces Organ Donation Plan
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Clinton administration announced a series of initiatives aimed at increasing organ donation, including a $13 million grant to educate people.
``The steps we are taking today will not only highlight the need for organ donation, it will make organ donation more possible and will help more of America's families to share the gift of health and life,'' said Vice President Al Gore. Gore was joined at Friday's announcement by both organ donors and recipients.
