In an age when the computer seems to have triumphed and the death of printed matter, especially books, has been repeatedly declared, editor Robert Mandel is doing a masterly job of literary retrieval.
Over the last two decades, he has established three of the most respected Judaica imprints at major university presses - SUNY Albany, Indiana University and Wayne State University in Detroit.
