Science has been distorted in the service of racism. Scientific racism is a fact. It exists in the lives of African Americans on a daily basis.

Scientific racism has a long history. More importantly, it may be the very thing that accounts for the continuing plight of African Americans in society today. Yet it is not recognized as racism. It is now called "mental health."
