Recent Developments in Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).

1. The liberalisation of foreign exchange controls that occurred in Jamaica in September 1991 resulted in substantial inflows of private capital. Although mostly attributable to investments by Jamaican expatriates in the U.S., Canada and the U.K., the extent of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) was still noteworthy. Most notably are: i.
