Our community needs effective leadership.
There are times we talk with pride about the Caribbean community as if it is some life force with a will of its own. As a group of immigrants settling in the South Florida community, there seems to be a need to identify just what we have achieved, what our needs are, and where we are headed. This is what makes us so proud at times when we speak of the Caribbean community. It is good to know we have made a distinctive mark on the territory that is now our home.
This sense of pride is important in giving us encouragement to of on, feeling that we are achieving something worthwhile.
