SF Officers Disciplined.

San Francisco Police Chief Anthony Ribera said that 22 officers accused of inappropriate force and other misconduct at a raid of an AIDS fundraiser in January will be disciplined.

Ribera said that six of the officers, including a captain and a lieutenant, will be assigned hearings before the police commission, which oversees the most severe police misconduct cases.

Ribera said the decisions were made after he reviewed an Office on Citizen Complaints report on the incident completed last month.

OCC Director Lance Bayer says the report found more than half of the 50 complaints against the officers to be valid.
