Jews Warming to Sharpton? Opposition to Reverend May Be Waning

NEW YORK -- The national director of the Anti-Defamation League, Abraham Foxman, shares a dais with the Rev. Al Sharpton. The city's erstwhile mayor, the Jewish Edward Koch, takes Al Sharpton to lunch and then co-sponsors a conference with him. Jewish activist Rabbi Avi Weiss says the Rev. Sharpton was "gracious" to him during a condolence call he made to the family of the unarmed Guinean immigrant shot to death last month by police officers.
