Known primarily for his paintings, the art of Jacob Lawrence took on a new face with "Jacob Lawrence: Thirty Years of Prints (1963-1993)," the first comprehensive overview of Lawrence's imaginative printmaking, which concluded recently in the Main Exhibit Hall, lower level, of The Chicago Public Library's Harold Washington Library Center.
