Former gang member says laws make shedding teen image hard
A former gang member can't seem to shed his teen-age image with existing gang laws.
John, (a fictitious name), 23, would like to change his gang image, but according to South Dakota street gang laws changes take time, perhaps years without any gang involvement.
John has changed his life. He's worked full time for a couple of years and even started college courses last semester.
