Bowie State University Opens Phone Center To Solicit Donations
For several years Bowie State University students have spent two weeks a year contacting alumni seeking financial contributions. This year that practice will no longer be needed as the university has created a Scholars Dialing For Dollars program that will operate daily year round.
On Monday students, alumni, an university staff participated in the opening of the university's new phone center in Kennard Hall. Students who will use the four telephones on a daily basis to contact alumnus to keep them abreast of what is happening at BSU and to solicit financial support will man the phone center.
