Major Campaign to Stop Illegal Dumping in City

In a significant effort for community improvement, the city of Los Angeles is embarking on an aggressive new campaign to help control the illegal dumping of trash and debris on public property. Mayor Riordan, Ninth District Councilmember Rita Walters and other city officials are scheduled to speak at a special kickoff event for the outreach campaign to be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 11, on the corner of 41st Pl. and Central Ave.
