The Meeting Performs At Blues Alley: Jazz Featuring Rushen, Chancler and. Watts

Not many people know them by the name of their fantastic jazz collective, the Meeting, but you know who they are. The Meeting is comprised of Ndugu Chancler, a renowned percussionist, Ernie Watts, a legendary saxophonist, and vocalist and instrumentalist Patrice Rushen. The Meeting recently performed at Washington's Blues Alley Nightclub located in Georgetown.

The Meeting was originally formed in 1983 for a performance at the Kool Jazz Festival, and recorded their first album, self-titled, in 1990 on GRP Records. They have followed up that landmark project with a new ...
