`Cooking for the Gods' Exhibition.
A special exhibition opens at the Newark Museum in New Jersey on Oct. 22, "Cooking for the Gods: The Art of Home Ritual Bengal," which focuses on Hindu ritual activity that expresses the private relationship between the worshiper and the gods that exists in Bengal in India.
The exhibition will showcase the art used in these home rituals, featuring a range of household objects from cutting knives to exquisitely carved shrines.
