HOOD RIVER, Ore. -- In Hood River, people welcome the bright fall foliage and fruit harvest with a party that extends throughout the Hood River Valley.
This weekend marks the 17th run of the Hood River Valley Harvest Festival Weekend, which is centered at the Hood River Expo Center. Visitors will find other activities in Parkdale, an orchard in the Hood River Valley and at the Hood River County Fairgrounds.
Framed by a backdrop of spectacular autumn color, the festival will boast plenty of fresh fruit harvested from the valley, arts and crafts handcrafted by more 100 artisans, plus food and entertainment.
