Project Open Hand Remembers.
Project Open Hand will commemorate its ten years of delivering hot meals and groceries to people with symptomatic HIV and AIDS on Thursday, October 19. "Ten Years and Still Cookin'" will mark the start of the second decade of service for this remarkable organization.
Projects Open Hand will remember its beginnings at Trinity Church at 1668 Bush Street at Gough in San Francisco in a program to begin at 6 p.m. In addition to many supporters of the organization, special guests will include Dana Atkins of Beach Blanket Babylon, Faye Carol, renowned pianist Sheli Nan, and the San Francisco Lyric Chorus.
