City of Pasadena Cracks Down On 35 Members of Street Gang.
By EMANUEL PARKER
Staff Writer
Members of a Pasadena street gang that had grown so bold they were extorting money from residents to use their own driveways and garages have been hit with an injunction aimed at ending their reign of terror.
Pasadena Superior Court Judge Coleman A. Swart granted a temporary restraining order against 35 members of the "Pasadena Denver Lanes" gang to stop them from dealing drugs and harassing residents.
"We're here today to give a neighborhood back to its lawful citizens," said District Attorney Gil Garcetti at a news conference last week Thursday in Pasadena.
