`Black Ink' makes a splash at Playwrights Horizon.

A labor of love, a gift, a means of influencing, inspiring and brightening and otherwise dreary existence are just a few of the underlining concepts attributed to Black Ink. Produced in part by Playwrights Horizons New Theater Wing, Black Ink is four one-act plays written by Kia Corthron, Ed DuRante, Lynn Martin and Beverly Smith-Dawson.
