A promising student-athlete: Erica's dream of Europe will never become. reality
If only a person could see the grief they leave behind once they pull the trigger of a gun.
Nothing was more evident on Wednesday evening, as hundreds of grief-stricken friends, classmates, and family members of Erica Renee Jefferson filed into Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, located at 22-1 Garrison Blvd. to pay their final respects to the Edmondson Westside High School student-athlete.
During the service, which spanned nearly four hours, several people overcome with emotion had to be taken from the chapel.
