Rev. Thomas Ferguson dies from attack of bronchial pneumonia.
As a member of the Armed Forces and as a community activist, Thomas Ferguson defended the causes of the slain all his life. Up to last week, he strove to insure people did not die in vain. He was slated to travel to Nigeria to argue for democracy in that nation but could not make the trip because he fell ill.
Rev. Ferguson died last Wednesday from broncial pneumonia at the Veteran Administration Hospital, two days after he was scheduled to fly to Nigeria.
He was 66.
