(Daily Targum) (U-WIRE) NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- Needing a win to secure the Big East regular season championship, the No. 18 Scarlet Knights (8-3-3, 6-0-2) head south to Morgantown to take on West Virginia (11-4-1, 7-2-1) Saturday afternoon.

Rutgers is bidding to become the first team to go undefeated in the Big East since the conference expanded in 1995.

But even to bring that into consideration, the Knights must get past the Mountaineers.

West Virginia currently has 15 points in Big East play, but has played two more conference games than Rutgers.
