US judge sets trial of Pinoy radioman.

Lino Celle, the controversial and acid-tongued host of Radio Pinoy, will go to trial over a $5 million defamation and slander suit filed against him last March 15 by a Filipina American businesswoman, the Filipino Reporter learned this week.

This came about as Judge Michael B. Mukasey of the Federal Court of the Southern District of New York dismissed on Dec. 4 the motion by Celle's lawyer seeking to drop the civil suit.
