Guitarist Little Jimmy King was present when the great blues master Albert King passed away in Memphis on December 21, 1992, which is why he produced the first annual Tribute to the Late, Great Albert King this past Monday night at B. B. King's Blues Club. down on Beale. The grateful blues disciple wanted the world to stop and honor the memory of his blues sensei -- the legendary imperial and powerful King Albert, the blues monarch who took possession of stage and audience through shows that were festivals of remarkable guitar virtuosity.
