Demographics Help Explain Hispanic Sexual Behavior.
Demographic variables such as acculturation, age, education and marital status play a key role in explaining sexual behavior and gender roles among Hispanics, and must be considered when developing educational programs designed to control sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) for this group, according to a UCSF researcher who will present his findings on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the American Public Health Association annual meeting in San Diego.
