UNITED NATIONS, Nov. 26 (IPS) -- A U.N. panel this week
discussed the need for dialogue among the nations of the world as
an "alternative language" to the prevailing trend of globalization
and to prevent "misunderstandings" between different cultures.
Experts in the field of international relations, meeting prior
to the World Trade Organization (WTO) conference in Seattle,
discussed "Dialogue among Civilizations: Call for Common Ground."
