FED: News Ltd printers on strike`=2
Mr Harrison said News Ltd had rejected every offer put by the union during eight weeks
of negotiations.
"The company has refused to negotiate in a reasonable way. They've offered us a paltry
7.5 per cent pay rise over three years," Mr Harrison said.
"We're seeking a more realistic nine per cent plus CPI over two years.
"The company has shown no willingness to bargain genuinely and the workforce has had
no choice but to make life hard for them."
