CHINA, May 29, AsiaInfo Services, Inc -- 1.Situation of Imports in the
last 5 years: From 1991 to 1995 China imported 298,000 tons of dairy
products, averaging, 60,000 tons each year. In 1994 and 1995 the
imported dairy products were respectively 84,000 and 72,000 tons US$
76.85 million and 58.1 million respectively, up 50 in the 5 years
period of time. 2. The Import Structure of Dairy Products: Among the
imported products most were milk powder and whey taking up 80 of the
