Table: Flooring creates headache at Olympic table tennis

SYDNEY, Jan 15 AAP - The Olympic table tennis venue was criticised again today when
the flooring came apart during the International Table Tennis Federation's (ITTF) Pro
Finals in Sydney.
Play was stopped several times during this afternoon's men's double's semi-final matches
at the State Sports Centre at Homebush.
The four-day ITTF Pro Finals are an Olympic table tennis test event.
The flooring problems come after Austrian player Werner Schlager criticised the venue
yesterday, saying the airconditioning was affecting play and causing the ball to drift.
