Hot Sauce Johnson is offbeat, and talented enough to jump out of the speakers with an eclectic mix of everything from blues to funk to country.

The key to bringing all these sounds together is the ability of lead vocalist Sun Sannes, who came to the band by way of a classified ad. Sannes leads Hot Sauce through the reggae-charged "Train Hoppin'" then tears into the acid-rock sounds of "Chemical Dependency" without even flinching.
