A Thai-Muslim group staged a protest in front of Total Access Communication
Plc's building yesterday to show their disgruntlement over the sudden removal
of Mustapha Man-gna from managing director's post.

The group, led by Yasen S M Mutu, submitted a letter of protest to
Boonchai Benjarongkul, TAC's new managing director and owner. The letter
questioned the legitimacy of Boonchai's order to demote Mustapha to the
post of deputy CEO.

However, the letter did not state that the group was acting on behalf
of any Muslim party.
