(Daily Trojan) (U-WIRE) LOS ANGELES -- A digital screening room will be added in the University of Southern California's Robert Zemeckis Center for Digital Arts, thanks to a donation to the School of Cinema-Television by actor, director, producer and former student Ron Howard.

The amount of the donation was $750,000, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"There's no digital facility (at a school) like this in the country," said Marlene Loadvine, associate dean for external relations.
