(The Daily Aztec) (U-WIRE) SAN DIEGO -- Soon, select students from San Diego State University will find themselves immersed in a forbidden culture -- that of communist Cuba. Starting next fall, they'll be studying business, theater, history and more in the halls of the University of Havana.
The University of Havana campus itself is a grandiose structure, reminiscent of ancient Greece or Rome. The pillared buildings are monolithic and make the visitor feel small.
The campus is perforated by courtyards and gardens, filled with stone benches, rough wrought-iron tables and chairs and vibrantly green tropical plants.
