TROUT STOCKING PLAN TO BE RELEASED

The New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife will present its
recommended Year 2000 trout stocking plan to the Fish and Game Council
at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource
Education Center, Route 46, west of Hackettstown in Warren County.
Given our limited trout habitat resources, the plan, except for
minor adjustments, is quite similar from year to year.
The plan calls for 575,000 to 600,000 trout to be released during
the spring ...
