(The Daily Aztec) (U-WIRE) SAN DIEGO -- The recent deadly dormitory fire at Seton Hall University in New Jersey has raised the issue of fire safety on every college campus.
Three people were killed and 58 hospitalized after a fire broke out there in a dormitory lounge Jan. 19.
"The Seton Hall University fire is the worst kind of tragedy there is," said Mike Hoctor, director of Housing and Residential Life at San Diego State University.
But Hoctor said he's hoping media coverage of the fire will help students be more willing to evacuate when they hear fire alarms.
