There is a good reason why many legislators, not to mention most
motorists, want to post the 65 mph speed limit on more segments of New
Jersey's limited access highways ("The 65 mph speed test," Editorial,
Feb. 27). They believe the higher limit contributes to a smoother and
safer traffic flow and increases credibility for speed limits. And when
