(The Bradley Scout) (U-WIRE) PEORIA, Ill. -- Central Illinois no longer can claim date rape drugs are not prevalent in the area, and neither can Bradley University, according to one expert.
"Just by reading newspaper clippings you can tell it is here," said Nancee Brown, legal-medical advocate for the Center for Prevention of Abuse. "The accessibility is not as hard as some believe."
A large outbreak hasn't occurred in the area, but Residential Life Director Barbara Carraway said the drugs' presence is apparent in Peoria.
