(Daily Bruin) (U-WIRE) LOS ANGELES -- For first-time film director Tina Valinsky, the best inspiration seems to come from the bathroom.
"Soft Toilet Seats," an independent film written and directed by Valinsky, and produced by Shirley Craig, is set to open this Friday in theaters in Woodland Hills and Hollywood.
The dark comedy, set in the San Fernando Valley, chronicles Arne Steinberg's (David Alex Rosen) reluctant move to the suburbs - only to discover his newly purchased home has a mysterious past.
