NSW: Police will not lay charges over alleged "hush money"

SYDNEY, March 16 AAP - Criminal charges would not be laid over an incident in which
a nanny to the mistress of billionaire businessman Richard Pratt was allegedly paid $23,000
in "hush money", police said.

Nanny Julie Page reportedly received the money after dropping an application for an
apprehended violence order against Shari-Lea Hitchcock, Mr Pratt's mistress.

The Australian newspaper reported today that Ms Page had been approached by Visy employee
Michael Panopoulos after seeking an apprehended violence order on February 29.

Mr Pratt is the chairman of Visy.
