SOC:Kingz keep playoff hopes alive

AUCKLAND, March 17 - The Football Kingz kept their playoff hopes alive and virtually
crushed the Northern Spirit's with a thrilling 3-2 win in their national soccer league
game at North Harbour Stadium tonight.
After being held 1-1 at halftime the Kingz scored twice in the second half but had
to hang on for 20 anxious minutes after Jonathon Perry broke the 2-2 deadlock in the 70th
minute.
"It was a good win for the boys after last week's effort," Kingz skipper Harry Ngata said.
"We've still got 10 games to go and we're not talking about playoffs just yet. As much
