(The University Times) (U-WIRE) CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Despite the efforts of a committee being assembled by UNC-Charlotte Student Body President Mark Lombardi and a few determined students, the future of a student-run radio station looks grim.

In order for a campus radio station to establish itself among the University of North Carolina-Charlotte community as well as be successful, several factors must come into play. Among some of the most basic necessities: support, funding and space on campus.
