OLYMPIA ---- Besides more jammed roads, school rooms and checkout lines, Clark County's 1990s population boom might also mean more clout for its lawmakers at the Capitol.
Whether it's about dollars for new highways or parks, Columbia River dredging, upholding local concerns about property rights or restoring threatened salmon stocks, the county stands to have a louder voice here in coming years.
Or at least more representation in the state Senate and House, which make decisions on those and other matters.
