(Badger Herald) (U-WIRE) MADISON, Wis. -- When watching Chris McIntosh and Ron Dayne play for the Badgers, their love for the game was unmistakable. Seeing Dayne get fed the ball 50 times, and still showing hunger for more. Witnessing McIntosh break a finger in the first quarter and playing the rest of the game.
It was evident during their illustrious careers that Dayne and McIntosh had a certain zest for playing football that is rarely observed.
And now both will be getting paid for their exuberance.
On Saturday, Dayne and McIntosh officially ended their amateur days as they were both selected in the first round of the NFL draft.
