PORTLAND ---- Artists Repertory Theatre, Portland's second-largest professional theater group, plans to unveil four Oregon premieres during its 2000-2001 season.
"These are all very hot plays," said Allen Nause, artistic director of the group for the past 11 years. "They also typify the kind of plays we want to do ---- wonderful stories that benefit from the intimacy of a very small production." Artists Rep produces its shows in the 170-seat, black-box-style Reiersgaard Theater.
The recently announced 2000-2001 season locally will premiere Martin McDonagh's "The Beauty Queen of Leenane," John Logan's "Never the Sinner," Warren ...
