Computer Virus Nothing To Sneeze At

The ``ILOVEYOU'' computer virus has inflicted plenty of damage, not the least of which will be the flood of marketing hype unleashed by peddlers of virus-protection programs.

Considering the very real damage done by the virus -- it not only destroyed files but sent copies of itself to the names in the infected machine's e-mail address book -- the idea of buying virus-protection software seems quite compelling. And the software does protect against known viruses, which now include ``ILOVEYOU.''
