Golf: Dyson does the double with dramatic win at China Open
SHANGHAI, May 21 AFP - English golfer Simon Dyson sank a nerve-jangling 2.5 metre putt
for par at the last hole to lift the $US400,000 ($A704,101) China Open by one stroke here
today and become only the third man to secure two consecutive wins on the Davidoff Tour.
The 22-year-old Dyson, who won the Macau Open last week for his maiden professional
victory, provided a dramatic finish by saving par at the 18th par five hole at Shanghai
Silport Golf Club despite a penalty stroke after landing in the water hazard with a wayward
drive.
